AURA is a Canadian charitable organization assisting in the sponsorship and resettlement of refugees. Our mission is to provide support and expertise to groups involved in refugee sponsorship and resettlement.

• Our expertise is based on 30+ years in the field of refugee sponsorship and resettlement. Our resources are widely recognized for excellence by governmental agencies, faith groups, and concerned community members.
• AURA is a trusted partner of the Anglican Diocese of Toronto and the United Church of Canada. We work closely with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to ensure a successful sponsorship process.
• In addition to the constituent groups we assist locally, we disseminate best practices through our website and social media. AURA is recognized as a leading expert in the field by the Canadian refugee sponsorship community.
• We strive to ensure the best possible outcomes for refugees, their sponsors, and the broader community. We are committed to accountability – to constituent groups, our partners, IRCC and the people of Canada.

AURA knows that bringing refugees to Canada is just the first step. We work closely with sponsoring groups prior to and for a full year following the arrival of refugees. Our constituent groups rely on AURA’s expertise through in-person consultations and through our robust website and social media.
